Question by : What are the white apple laptops called?
I am a complete newb when it comes to electronics and I was wondering what the difference is between the apple laptops that are white and the ones that are silver. The white ones are like plastic on the outside and the silver ones are like metal. My brother bought a silver one for university. Is there a difference in price between the white and silver…also do they even sell the white ones anymore? I couldn’t find them on the website.

White Apple Mac-Book are lower config laptops as compares to silver Mac-Book Pro, of course mac-book were cheaper and with 13 inch screen only form there mac-book pro.
Apple has discontinued mac-book these days.
The white ones are the Macbook. They have been succeeded by the Macbook Pro, the silver aluminum ones. The Macbooks are the older models and are soon to be phased out all together as Apple moves forward with the Macbook Pro line. they are cheaper than the Pro series because they are the older models. I haven’t seen many left , if any, at the Apple store by my house. If you are going to buy a Macbook then just go ahead and get the Pro. Reason being, the original Macbook is being phased out like i mentioned above, and it will be easier to have the newest Macbook so that future updates and such apply to your computer.
Mac books? I’m sure if you keep looking on different shops online you’ll find one.
White are the old Macbooks. The silver used to be only on the Macbook Pros, but now even the ordinary Macbook is silver.
